Preliminary Task

Here's my preliminary task! It's not the best design product in the world, nor in the class, at all. However, I'm confident I can learn a few things and get some inspiration and really make this project one of high quality.


I went for a blue and white colour scheme to symbolise a relaxed mood, which would make appealing to students as they particularly like to relax.


I've tried to make it 'gossipy' with a few exclamation marks thrown on the page, using language that would entice the reader in to picking up the magazine.

AS Media has begun...

I haven't yet posted on here, been busy on other blogging websites such as Tumblr. Now, I shall be using Blogger to keep you up-to-date with all Media goings on in my life. Of course, it will still be the hub of my musical career but with a bit of Media coursework thrown in.

SO, I've decided I'm going to design my very own music magazine. It will be for those who listen to "alternative" music, i.e. NoFX instead of JLS.

I'll be updating this blog every time I get an idea or create something new. Should be interesting....
